I forgot!!

I cant believe I forgot to tell you. Last night when mom picked me up she thought I was getting heavier. (Well yea Mom I'm a growing Airedale) Well out of her curiosity she decided to weigh me. Guess What!! I am now 16 pounds!! I wont be 10 weeks till Sunday and I'm already 16 pounds. I'm so proud of myself

Good Morning,

My life has been a pretty steady routine. Mom wakes me up in the morning, well sometimes I wake her up. We play for a bit then I chew on my wonderful Bully Stick while she keeps doing these crazy things like go in something called a shower and painting her face, she calls it getting ready. I think she is odd. Sometimes I watch her paint her face to try and figure out why she does it but I just don't get it.

Anyway back to the routine, After she gets done "getting ready" she takes me to Grandma and Grandpas and I hang out there till she is done with work. I have a blast playing with Zoey and Bucky but I am still really excited to see mom when she comes to get me.

We go home, its really close to Grandma and Grandpas, We hang out outside so I can chew on my outside sticks and run after the ball. Then its inside to rest and relax for the next exciting day.

I normally have a lot of good pictures to show but mom has been forgetting her camera lately (bad mom) I have decided to show everyone some pictures that I really like but haven't made it to this awesome blog yet.

Bad morning

This morning did NOT start off good. Mom came and got me out of my cage and let me outside to do my business. When I came in she ambushed me with these stinky ear drop things that the vet gave her. I cry when I scratch my ears so he said to use the drops once a week. I HATE THEM. They are evil. I squirm away from mom as soon as she tries to put them in. I know she doesn't want to hurt me and she didn't. It is a big job trying to get me to hold still when I use all my Aire power to get away. After a struggle she finally got a little in my ear and nope still don't like it.

 She wants to know if anyone has any hints on giving ear drops??

 I now am happy and chewing on my bully stick. I gave mom a kiss because I know she is just trying to help.

Crouching tiger hidden Airedale

Hi :)

I am feeling 100% better. I think I just had a little puppy stomach bug. Yesterday started off with me waking mom up at 5am. She likes that on the weekdays because I can be her alarm clock (I think) but not so much on the weekends, that story is for another day. I went outside and did my business like a good little Airedale. We always play for a little bit in the morning . Today I thought the pull handle thing on the recliner was out to get me so we had a little argument (and a small argument with my favorite toy, it tried to gag me). I will post the video as soon as mom figures out how to put it on here. After we got done playing mom gives me a bully stick to chew on when she get ready for work.

I love my bully sticks!!!

If any of you dogs out there haven't tried them you don't know what your missing.

 I am always super excited to see mom when she picks me up to take me home, She was a little late yesterday because she had to meet up with some friends and I could not go along.

Thats ok though, once she finally picked me up we when home and played out side for a while. I am pretty fascinated with these new colorful things that keep popping out of the ground. Mom says they are flowers and they are blooming because its spring. I just think they look pretty interesting to chew on.

Well that was my day. More excitement and adventure tomorrow (hopefully!!)

Rough start to the week

My Monday started off a little rough this week. I could not sleep at all Sunday night and was up crying but mom would not let me out of my cage. Once she woke up for work I finally was able to be released from the cage but got sick :( Mom felt really bad for not letting me out sooner. I know she ment well so I forgave her. I am now back in my same old happy crazy spirit and am ready for a new day that is full of adventure!!

Fun weekend

Hello,

I hope everyone had a great weekend!! I know I did. It started off a little rough because I had to go to the vet with mom and grandpa for another set of shots and to make sure I'm still healthy. I am now 13.8 pounds, I was weighed of April 21 and was only 7.6 so I'm growing fast!! I took my shots like a champ but I had to get my ears cleaned and I really did not like that.

After the vet mom and I went to grandma and grandpas house to play with my friends Bucky and Zoey.

On Saturday Mom and I hung out and enjoyed the nice spring weather that finally got to WI. I played in the yard a lot that day. Then moms friend Amber came over and hung out for a while with us.

Today Mom and I relaxed in the morning. As you can seeI like to see on her lap when chewing on my toys

We has another really warm day today it hit 80 degrees!! We went on a walk with moms friend Sara and her little Jack Russel Riley

We walked over to Culver's so mom and Sara could have lunch. The people there were really nice to us and brought out a treat and a bowl of water to drink. It was my first walk and I got tired really fast. Mom was nice enough to carry me when I got tired also I took a nap at Culvers but besids getting tired did really good and stayed my moms side the whole time.   

I was pretty pooped after going for the long walk and went home to rest. 

Now there is a storm coming in and I don't like it. The thunder scares me and makes me cry. Hopefully it will be over soon.

First Two weeks

Hello everyone, My name is Charlee.

I am a Airedale terrier who was born on 2/6/2011 and turned 8 weeks old on 4/3/2011. I am pure breed and will soon be AKC regestered (Im excited for that!!) I come from a big family 6 brothers and 1 sister. I am a girl too but for some reason my mom chose a boys name, I heard it was something about me being spunky. Mom has been in touch with my family ever since I was born and has been getting pictures of me ever since I was really tiny.

My mom and grandma picked me up from my old house on Sat 3/26/2011. I can't say that I was happy to leave because I did love being with all my brothers and sister but I put on a brave face and made it the whole 4 hour car ride with no accidents or getting sick. Mom did stop a few time so I could go check out the world though and go to the bathroom.

After the big car ride we finally made it home and what a great home it is!! There is a ton of toys to play with and a fenced in yard for me to play. It’s a little small but that’s ok I make due. I am out there all the time during the day to go potty. I really don’t like going potty in the house and mom is super happy about that. I go to the door and cry every time I need to go. Mom says that makes me smart, I think that just makes me a Airedale.

The first 4 days I was home mom stayed home the whole time with me. We played and had a blast hanging out together. We also had lots of visitors. I can't keep them all straight but I was excited to meet everyone. After all the fun and hanging out with mom those days she had to go to something she calls work. When she goes she loads me in the car and takes me to grandma and grandpas house. I LOVE it there!! They have two dogs, Bucky and Zoey, Bucky doesn’t know if he likes me yet. He is older and can get grumpy when I try to jump and play. Zoey is younger and she loves to play with me. She is pretty small so I have to be careful on how rough I play with her. Sometimes I bite a little too hard and she cries but then she bits me back so she must be ok with it. They have a giant backyard where I can run around and get into all kinds of trouble. I love to hide under bushes but Grandma doesn’t like to try and drag me out of them. I get really excited when mom gets home from work to pick me up. Sometimes I start biting her but it's just because I am so excited I can't hold it all in!! We go home and play with the ball outside and I work off all the energy that I have stored up. When we come inside I crash out on my awesome dog bed. It's pretty big right now but I will grow into it! At night I sleep in my cage and I like having a place that is all mine and no one can disturb me. I don’t make a peep until mom wakes me up in the morning, well I think its morning but it's really dark out so maybe it's still night or just really really early.

Last weekend Mom took me over to Uncle Matt and Aunt Angie's house to meet their dogs, Dudley and Bailey who are wheaten terriers, and spend some time with Brianna (Moms Niece). I had so much fun over there too!! Dudley and Bailey are a lot bigger than me but they were really nice and super curious about me. I tried to bite Dudley but he didn’t like that and I didn’t do it again. I can't wait to go over and play with them again.
